There are many accommodation options in Bolzano.
For students, the town has:

The cost could be from 30 to 55 euros per night, possibly less for shared apartments.
The majority of accommodations are at a walking distance from the main conference venue, or at most at a 10-15 minute distance by public transport or bike.
